Menagerie was created with the mission: Stand for something small.
A clean beauty space housed in a vintage Airstream in Portland, OR., selling emerging brands that focus on simple ingredients. We started Menagerie to understand the full process of bringing independent beauty brands to market; from ideation to retail shelf .
We created a brand identity and environment that complimented the brand vision: honesty, simplicity, self-discovery.
For many of the brands we carried, we were their first-ever retail wholesale account. We fostered open, honest dialog about what generates sales and how packaging and design can impact growth for small companies. Many of our first-time brands went on to hold accounts like Target, Anthropologie, and Credo.
