Joyola Mei is a hair salon built on a promise to serve the person, the process, and the planet. Founder Joyell Lewis set out to create a holistic, customer-centric experience that reflected her personal conviction to live sustainably. Detroit’s first eco-luxury salon was born.

 
 
 

The Ask

Aliado set out to deliver a brand identity and visual voice that elevated Joyola Mei’s unique purpose and specialized services tailored to the Curly Woman.

For the wordmark, we gave sleek modern typography some wave, creating an expressive yet refined style with room to play.
